Bayron R. Calle Rendón
I am a Forest Engineer from the National University of Colombia, with Master’s degree in Biodiversity and Conservation from the Menéndez Pelayo International University. I have worked with forest ecology, primate behavior and the conservation of the Giant South American Turtle in the Colombian Amazon. I have also investigated the effect of primate abundances on the recruitment patterns of seedlings in the Hotspot Chocó-Darién (Ecuador). Currently I am a PhD candidate in Tropical Biodiversity at the Federal University of Amapá, analyzing the effect of landscape attributes on the occurrence of a primate species in a savanna ecosystem at Brazilian amazon.
